BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are key to many international events – they get involved in the organisational side of the event, are a great source of information, invaluable support for participants and help create a unique atmosphere, thanks to which the guests feel “at home”.
If you like working in groups, are open to new cultures and experiences, and are not afraid of a challenge – join the Europa Cup 2020 volunteers team!
Volunteering for the Europa Cup is a great opportunity to actively participate in the development of an incredible international event. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn about floristry, improve their language skills and gain valuable professional experience and contacts. During volunteering, you will meet many interesting people and make new friends.
The European Florist Championship will take place between 5th and 7th of June, and there will be volunteering activities starting from June 2nd.
There are two stages to the Europa Cup volunteer recruitment process:
- completing and submitting the application form (until February 16tht, 2020)
- verification of submitted applications (until February 29th, 2020)
Based on information collected during the recruitment process, we will prepare a list of Europa Cup volunteers by the 15th of March 2020. If you have any questions – please, contact our Volunteers Coordinator, Zbigniew Dziwulski: firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in joining the group of volunteers, please send us the application form via email. It can be downloaded here:
Please read the VOLUNTEERING REGULATIONS carefully.
Volunteering is a form of unpaid work, therefore, volunteers do not receive a salary. To reward their commitment and time, however, we will prepare official certificates confirming their valued participation – and provide Europa Cup 2020 gadgets and memorabilia for everyone involved.
For volunteers, we provide a meal each day, plus water and other beverages. We also provide insurance for accidents at work during the time of volunteering. However, we will not refund travel costs, and we also cannot provide accommodation for all volunteers. In justified cases, we can support volunteers in search of accommodation.
We require the English language skills of volunteers to be at a basic, communicative level. Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage.
If you want to join to Europa Cup 2020 volunteer team, you must be an adult: 18 years old before the 1st of June 2020.
The main organiser of the volunteer work and administrator of the personal data of volunteers is the Polish Florist Association.
